On Tuesday, July 19, Community Cancer Fund will host a celebration in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to recognize Tom and Debby Davidson for their generous support of Community Cancer Fund’s mission to fight cancer across the Inland Northwest region.
To honor their generosity, Community Cancer Fund will dedicate the Hospitality Center on the Kootenai Health campus after the Davidson family. The newly named Davidson Family Hospitality Center opened in 2019 and was a $5+ million gift from Community Cancer Fund to Kootenai Health. In addition to the Davidson family, completion of the project was only made possible by the incredible gifts from many other supporters. Community Cancer Fund plans to recognize these individuals at the celebration as well.
The Davidson Family Hospitality Center was inspired by a desire to ensure access to care and provide outstanding support services for patients and families at Kootenai Health. The Center has twelve adult rooms, six Ronald McDonald House rooms for pediatric patient families, and two swing rooms – all of which provide a home-like setting for those in need.
