Working with community partners, Community Cancer Fund announces plans to significantly impact lodging options and opportunities for cancer patients and their families traveling to the Inland Northwest for cancer treatments and care under the Cancer Patient Lodging 2020 Initiative..

By 2020, CCF will:

  • Build and open the Hospitality Center at Kootenai Health.
  • Aid the Ronald McDonald House with their aggressive expansion plans in Spokane, opening their new House by January 1, 2020.
  • Continue our partnership with the Davenport Hotel properties and the “Davenport Lodging Program” by committing to another 2,000 room nights of complimentary lodging for patients and families seeking cancer treatments and care in Spokane.
  • Since inception in late 2015, we have provided over 1,800 nights of complimentary lodging to cancer patients through this program will easily exceed 2,000 provided room nights by end of 2018.
