Community Cancer Fund raised over $1.83 million in 2015 and was able to donate over $690,000 to local hospitals, cancer funds, and organizations around the Inland Northwest.
Other highlights from 2015 include:
- Through a unique lodging initiative with partners at Kootenai Health, Ronald McDonald House, Shriner’s Hospital, and Davenport Hotel Properties, we have addressed over 12,000 room nights of lodging for patients traveling to the Inland Northwest for necessary cancer treatments
- Through research partnerships with Cancer Care Northwest and Providence Sacred Heart, we have set in motion projects that will potentially have a global impact on treatments for head and neck cancers.
- With the establishment of the Camp Goodtimes Endowment Fund, we have established the goal of completely underwriting the week-long free camp for children with cancer in perpetuity.
